Ms. Khand has extensive experience in structuring complex cross-border transactions and preparing of due diligence reports. Has 30 years of experience as a legal practitioner. Is also a licensed English and /Russian legal translator.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
Has advised multinationals and international financial institutions in a number of mining and other projects:
Advised two US multinationals in their joint ventures with a wholly foreign-owned group of companies with respect to Mongolian coal and other mineral interests.
Prepared a due diligence report on the Mongolian subsidiaries of Central Asia Metals Plc. in connection with the latter’s listing on AIM.
Advised Mitsubishi Corporation in connection with an acquisition of an interest in the uranium mining projects in the South-East Mongolia.
Since 2007, has been advising EBRD in the series of term loans to Vitafit Group, a leading Mongolian non-alcoholic beverage manufacturer and on subscription for the shareholding in Monhangai Group- a JV with Monhangai LLC, a leading Mongolian retailer.
