In 1981 graduated with Qualification of Jurist (equivalent of LLB) from the Leningrad State University, Russia. Prior to joining Tsets, served as prosecutor with the Office of the Prosecutor-General and as officer with the Ministry of Justice. In 1998 received MBA from the Charles Sturt University, Australia.

Specialization: legal opinions and legal due diligence investigation on the civil, corporate and minerals law matters. Is also licensed English and Russian legal translator.
